The company operates Automotive Retail Cloud (ARC), Automotive Enterprise Cloud (AEC), and Automotive Partner Cloud (APC), connecting OEMs, dealers, and consumers through a unified platform powered by big data, machine learning, and AI. With ~3,000 employees globally, Tekion is seeking a Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Automation & SRE to lead a high-impact team within Cloud Engineering. In this role, you will provide strategic and technical leadership to a team of cloud infrastructure engineers and SREs, driving the adoption of infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi, CRD) and establishing automation-first principles across Tekion's cloud environments. You'll oversee the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical infrastructure services, architecting and optimizing cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines to support product and service delivery. Key responsibilities include: leading and mentoring a talented engineering team with focus on career development; driving infrastructure automation and platform enablement; ensuring operational excellence through SRE methodologies including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and postmortems; partnering with Cloud Security and Product Security teams to implement robust security controls and compliance policies; establishing self-service tooling and guardrails for developers; and tracking KPIs (SLAs, SLOs, security posture, automation coverage) for stakeholder reporting. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and application teams to balance operational needs, reliability, and security in cloud environments. The role emphasizes continuous learning, process optimization, and staying current with emerging security and cloud technologies. Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; 10+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles with at least 2+ years in technical leadership or management; hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools; deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, cloud-native IAM, network security, secrets management, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001); proven experience with SRE methodologies and building high-performing infrastructure teams; strong background in automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and system architecture at scale; and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
