Salary: USD 310,000 - 385,000 / annual

You will join the Business Productivity team as an Engineering Manager, reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering. Your core responsibility is leading a high-performing engineering team focused on improving the efficiency of internal lines of business by embedding AI into their core workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team through coaching, authentic feedback, and hiring
- Partner with internal business units to identify high-leverage opportunities and ship end-to-end features that deliver measurable employee productivity gains
- Drive delivery of AI-native solutions
- Own core services ensuring secure, high-quality, and reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment
- Balance quality with delivery speed, identify bottlenecks, and communicate tradeoffs across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Set technical direction across the team's roadmap with three strategic bets: AI adoption, employee efficiency, and foundational improvements
Ideal candidates have 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineering teams. You should have experience building web applications and APIs on cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar), strong ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset, ability to partner with non-technical business stakeholders and translate workflows into technical solutions, and experience thriving in startup or fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
The tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Istio, Postgres, ElasticSearch, NATS, AWS, and Terraform.
This role is based in the New York City office (Financial District) with a requirement to work in-office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). The company emphasizes a mission-driven culture with intense urgency, individual accountability, and authentic feedback.
