Seyna is a European insurtech founded in 2019 that provides insurance brokers with modern technology and operations to design, sell, and manage custom insurance products. The company has secured €57M in funding and serves over 100 brokers protecting approximately 2 million policyholders across 6 European countries.
You will lead the Data Integration team within the Client Performance division, which ensures the sustainability and profitability of insurance portfolios launched by Seyna. The Data team is responsible for integrating delegated partner data into Seyna's information system, guaranteeing data completeness and quality.
As Manager of Data Integration, you will oversee a team of 4 Data Integration Managers and drive the structuring and industrialization of the data integration system—a critical component of Seyna's operational reliability.
Key responsibilities:
• Industrialize the integration system: Lead the complete migration to the Seyna application, eliminate ad hoc manual processes, and ensure end-to-end operational scalability.
• Define and enforce quality standards: Establish integration standards for data submissions (data correction, test case writing), explicitly balancing quality and speed trade-offs.
• Team management: Structure and lead a team of 3 Data Integration Managers through operational rituals, workload distribution, coaching, and skill development.
• Technology partnership: Manage relationships with Tech teams to prioritize Seyna application enhancements and prevent regression to ad hoc solutions.
• Business continuity: Guarantee portfolio continuity by enforcing documentation as a non-negotiable standard and anticipating critical dependencies.
• Stakeholder management: Structure relationships with consuming teams (actuarial, accounting, brokers, Client Performance) to align data with real business needs.
• Cross-functional projects: Lead initiatives with other teams (CSM, Legal, Tech) and continuously arbitrate between speed, quality, capacity, and business expectations in a high-pressure operational environment.
Requirements:
• Proven ability to federate and coach teams with strong daily leadership.
• Experience managing broker relationships, including complex situations.
• Proficiency in SQL/Python and end-to-end data pipelines.
• Demonstrated skill in prioritization and decision-making under multiple constraints (speed, quality, capacity, business needs) with strong project management discipline.
• Clear communication with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to simplify complexity into actionable solutions.
• Systems thinking and experience standardizing operations through technology.
• Clear vision of robust, high-quality data systems and ability to implement them.
• Bonus: Prior experience with data challenges specific to the insurance sector.
