ParentSquare is seeking a Manager, Customer Success – Attendance Plus to build and lead the customer success practice for Attendance Plus, a rapidly growing product helping K-12 districts tackle chronic absenteeism. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you'll carry your own book of strategic accounts while hiring, coaching, and developing a small team of Customer Success Managers. You'll be building the playbook from scratch rather than inheriting one, staying deeply involved in accounts, escalations, and understanding what districts need to move attendance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of strategic Attendance Plus customers with direct accountability for renewal outcomes
- Hiring and developing CSMs into trusted advisors for district leadership
- Building the Attendance Plus customer success model from the ground up, including customer journey, engagement model, success plans, and playbooks
- Driving early customers to measurable attendance outcomes and converting wins into references and case studies
- Owning renewal health and retention across the portfolio with proactive intervention on at-risk accounts
- Partnering with Sales on expansion and cross-sell opportunities grounded in demonstrated value
- Serving as the voice of the Attendance Plus customer to Product, bringing back district needs as the product evolves
- Establishing account planning, reporting, and HubSpot hygiene standards for the growing team
You'll work closely with Sales, Education, Product, and Support teams. ParentSquare's flagship products (ParentSquare and RemindHub) serve over 22 million students with unified communications tools including forms, sign-ups, payments, RSVPs, messaging, language translations, and chat. The company also offers Remind Chat (reaching 80% of K-12 students) and SmartSites (school district websites).
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Customer Success or Account Management roles; K-12, EdTech, or MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years leading and developing a customer-facing team
- Comfort building processes where none exists—experience with new products, new markets, or early-stage environments
- Track record of owning strategic, high-value relationships with executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated results driving adoption, retention, and expansion
- Strong coaching, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills with a data-driven and highly organized approach
