Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company operates 20 offices across six continents with London as headquarters. You will join the RFP Management team as a Strategic Bid Manager, reporting to the Director of Bid Management. This role acts as both a trusted enabler and commercial accelerator for the Strategic Accounts organization, supporting high-profile enterprise sales cycles through industry-leading RFP responses and proposal delivery. Key responsibilities include: - Managing RFx projects end-to-end (RFI, RFP, due diligence questionnaires), including bid team formation, strategy development, and delivery of best-in-class response packages - Identifying customer pain points and developing value propositions and win themes during bid capture phase - Collaborating with and managing internal stakeholders across commercial, marketing, design, technical, product, legal, compliance, and information security teams - Creating high-quality, persuasive business development materials that build compelling cases for prospects - Managing multiple deadlines and workstreams with proactive workload prioritization - Serving as single point of contact for all RFx activities - Driving best bid practices and acting as bid champion throughout submissions - Supporting bid library maintenance, collateral improvement, and sales presentation stages The role focuses on leading exciting RFx opportunities across global markets (Europe, USA, MENA, APAC) for the company's most strategic accounts. You'll have a front-row seat to some of the most significant RFPs in the payments industry. Workplace: Hybrid model with three days per week in London office to support collaboration and connection. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 3 years of experience in competitive enterprise commercial and/or strategic tendering (bid management, marketing, or technical roles) or within the payments industry - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native English or equivalent) with ability to write compelling content for international audiences - Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation to deliver consistently high standards - Strong team player with ability to support and lead as required - Highly organized self-starter with ability to prioritize shifting workloads and tasks effectively - Expert stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills - Strong writing skills with ability to translate technical jargon into straightforward, influential business development content - Demonstrated commercial acumen and proven bid/project management expertise - Passion for winning RFPs and bid champion mentality - Experience utilizing AI effectively within the RFP process - Proficiency in G-Suite, MS Office, and RFP software platforms
