You will join the Financial Partnerships, Go To Market team as Manager, APM Relationships, based in London and reporting to the Senior Manager of APM Relationships. This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role focused on driving growth and managing a portfolio of Alternative Payment Method (APM) partners across the European market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing relationships with APM partners (PayPal, Klarna, BLIK, Wero, etc.) to develop and deliver payment solutions for merchants
- Leading negotiations with APM partners to establish mutually beneficial commercial terms aligned with Checkout.com's revenue goals and risk appetite
- Overseeing day-to-day management of APM enablement projects, escalations, and partner performance to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing relationship management
- Collaborating with APM partners to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans including joint marketing initiatives, sales enablement programs, and co-selling activities
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, and Product to promote Checkout.com APM solutions and drive adoption among clients
- Serving as a key point of contact for APM partners, representing the company at industry events and fostering strong relationships within the payments ecosystem
You bring 5-8 years of experience in partnership management or a related field within payments or tech industries. You combine operations, project management, and relationship management skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. You demonstrate strong ownership, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities to track and interpret data for decision-making. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can handle multiple projects simultaneously from conception through operationalization.
Checkout.com operates a hybrid model with three days per week in the office to support collaboration and connection. The company has 20 offices across six continents with London as headquarters.
