Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 / annual
Ripple is seeking a Manager of AI Platform Engineering to lead the development and delivery of GSmart, an AI platform powering smart features across enterprise treasury products. This is a greenfield opportunity to shape the future of AI infrastructure at a fintech company building solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments, and developers.
You will own the AI platform roadmap end-to-end, ensuring measurable and dependable AI systems. You'll work closely with product and solution teams to translate customer challenges into technical solutions, while building and mentoring a platform AI engineering team. The role balances strategic leadership with hands-on technical contribution—you'll stay actively involved in architecture decisions and full-stack production code.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the AI platform roadmap and delivery end-to-end
- Ensuring platform AI is measurable and dependable
- Collaborating with product and solution teams to address customer challenges
- Enabling teams to build on the platform and own their deliverables
- Hiring, mentoring, and growing the platform AI engineering team
- Staying actively involved in architecture and full-stack production code

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including full-stack development and AI/ML platform infrastructure
- 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Strong full-stack development skills (front-end, back-end, APIs) with solid cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience operating AI systems in production
- Deep, current command of AI and modern LLM/GenAI infrastructure
