Voyager Technologies is a defense, national security, and space technology company developing mission-critical solutions for the U.S. government. This Machine Learning Engineer role focuses on advancing deep learning technologies applied to Computer Vision, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Geospatial Exploitation.
You will research, design, and implement advanced deep neural network architectures and machine learning models with direct impact on national security challenges. Key responsibilities include:
• Conceive, prototype, and implement cutting-edge deep neural network architectures and machine learning models
• Apply deep learning algorithms to train neural networks for object detection and classification tasks
• Develop domain-aware pre-processing algorithms to improve model generalization and robustness
• Apply signal pre-processing techniques on SAR data for enhanced feature extraction
• Create physics simulations of various phenomenologies and develop methods to account for bias between simulated and real-world data
• Design appropriate objective functions and comprehensive performance assessment plans
• Develop and deliver production-quality code, primarily in Python
• Present technical work at meetings and conferences
