Salary: USD 150,000 - 260,000 / annual

You will develop machine learning models for behavior prediction and planning in autonomous vehicles and other road users. Your core responsibilities include prototyping, evaluating, refining, and deploying state-of-the-art ML algorithms that generate driving trajectories for autonomous systems. You'll leverage Applied Intuition's established products to build software and infrastructure foundations for behavior-specific ML development, and collaborate across perception, planning, and research teams on cutting-edge models and techniques.
Key qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. You need expertise in at least one subdomain—modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, or model optimization. Demonstrate end-to-end deep learning development experience, 2+ years building production software with modern practices, fluency in Python, and intermediate C++ proficiency.
Nice-to-have credentials include peer-reviewed ML conference publications (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, ICRA), driver assistance or autonomous driving systems experience, and system-in-the-loop model evaluation expertise.
Applied Intuition operates as a primarily in-office company (5 days/week expectation) with flexibility for occasional remote work, morning-from-home starts, or schedule adjustments for personal needs. Compensation includes base salary ($150k–$260k USD annually), equity (options/RSUs), comprehensive health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and PTO.
