Voyager Space is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop cutting-edge deep learning technologies for computer vision, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and geospatial exploitation applications. You will work on mission-critical solutions for U.S. government customers, with direct impact on national security challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research, design, and implement advanced deep neural network architectures and machine learning models
- Apply deep learning algorithms to train neural networks for object detection and classification tasks
- Develop domain-aware preprocessing algorithms to improve model generalization and robustness
- Apply signal preprocessing techniques to SAR data for enhanced analysis
- Create physics simulations of various phenomenologies and develop methods to account for bias between simulated and real-world data
- Develop appropriate objective functions and comprehensive performance assessment plans
- Write production-quality code, primarily in Python
- Present technical work at meetings and conferences
