As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be at the core of the company's transformation from a writing assistant into an AI-native productivity suite for enterprises. You will own critical ML systems and be responsible for core orchestration, routing, and planning systems for the AI agent platform. Key responsibilities include developing and deploying sophisticated ML models for core product experiences such as search ranking and proactive suggestions that anticipate user needs. You will integrate cutting-edge AI components with the latest and most powerful models to create user experiences that delight millions of users. The role offers significant autonomy and product ownership in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You will move quickly from idea to impact with minimal bureaucracy, operating on a foundational team where your contributions directly influence a platform used by over 40 million people globally. Required qualifications include an MS or PhD in Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience as a machine learning engineer or applied research scientist. You must have deep understanding of modern ML algorithms, NLP, and LLMs, with demonstrated experience building LLM-based products. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong end-user focus, works independently with minimal guidance, manages priorities across multiple projects efficiently, and thrives in results-driven environments.
