Netskope AI Labs is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help build, optimize, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions for the Netskope Intelligent Security Service Edge (SSE) platform. You will work closely with senior architects and ML scientists to advance state-of-the-art AI and machine learning capabilities that protect modern enterprises.
In this role, you will architect and optimize high-performance LLM inference systems, focusing on throughput and latency optimization using tools like vLLM, SGLang, and advanced KV Cache optimization techniques. You'll own the end-to-end AI lifecycle, translating complex business requirements into production-grade code. This includes collaborating on the AI roadmap, designing scalable and reliable systems, and implementing strict performance tracking ("Report Cards") for production models to monitor real-world accuracy, latency, and security relevance.
You will have high-impact ownership in the AI transformation of a market-leading cloud security company, working alongside elite engineers, researchers, and ML scientists to solve industry-leading challenges in latency, throughput, and cloud security.
Required qualifications include 10+ years of overall software engineering and product development experience, with specialization in one of two tracks: (1) AI/ML Focus: 2+ years of production experience developing, optimizing, and deploying AI/ML solutions, or equivalent advanced technical degree plus hands-on experience; or (2) Distributed Systems Focus: 6+ years architecting and scaling high-performance distributed systems, combined with strong interest in applying infrastructure skills to cutting-edge AI/LLM engineering. You should have direct exposure to or strong conceptual understanding of optimizing LLMs in production environments.
