Archer Technologies is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for sustainable air mobility. As M&A Integration Lead reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, you will own end-to-end integration for Archer's acquisitions, from pre-signing diligence through close and into steady-state operations.
You will establish and run Archer's Integration Management Office (IMO), serving as the central hub for integration governance and execution. Key responsibilities include leading integration planning across all acquisitions, building and maintaining the master integration plan, tracking cross-functional dependencies, and escalating blockers with clear recommendations to the executive team. You will identify and capture synergies and value-creation opportunities across functional areas including engineering, people, finance, and legal.
You'll act as a trusted partner to acquired leadership teams, bridging cultural and operational differences to protect deal value and build trust. The role emphasizes leveraging AI tools to automate diligence synthesis, status reporting, and tracker management, enabling the integration program to scale efficiently. You will codify a repeatable M&A integration playbook for Archer and document lessons learned to support future deals.
Additionally, you will support the Head of Corporate Development on broader M&A strategy, including thesis generation, target sourcing, and pre-signing transaction execution.
Required: 7+ years in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, or program/portfolio management, with direct experience leading at least one significant acquisition. You must demonstrate ability to run structured cross-functional programs with clear ownership of timeline, risk, and reporting. Strong communication skills are essential for translating status and complexity into clear updates for executive audiences. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, detail-oriented, and skilled at applying AI tools creatively. Prior experience integrating acquisitions into public or late-stage private companies is required.
Bonus qualifications include experience in high-growth technology, aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing; carve-out transaction experience; and program management credentials (PMP, Six Sigma).
