Salary: GBP 150,000 - 190,000 / annual

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect, Partnerships to join the Applied AI team in London. This is a pre-sales technical role focused on building and strengthening relationships with Global and Regional System Integrators (GSIs/RSIs) and cloud partners (AWS and GCP) to accelerate indirect revenue, enable partners' AI practices, and execute long-term go-to-market strategy. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Technical Partnership: Serve as a technical thought partner to the GTM partnerships team, bringing deep technical expertise to understand the partner landscape and drive strategic programs. Embed with GSI and cloud partner technical teams to enable their AI practices, support troubleshooting, and evangelize Anthropic within their developer communities. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Joint Solution Development: Collaborate with partners to identify high-value, industry-specific GenAI applications, develop joint solutions, and codify reference architectures and best practices that accelerate deployment timelines. Customer Deal Support: Provide deep technical expertise and solution architecture guidance to unblock strategic customer deals where partners are the primary delivery vehicle. Partner Ecosystem and Events: Represent Anthropic at partner events including GSI customer workshops, AWS summits, and industry conferences. Lead or support partner-specific developer events, hackathons, and technical enablement sessions, particularly for technically native communities. Product Feedback: Gather and validate feedback on Anthropic's products and offerings related to partner use cases and deployment patterns, delivering insights to relevant teams to inform product roadmap and partner strategy. Requirements: - 5+ years in technical customer-facing or partner-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Partner Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager - Proven track record of successfully partnering with GSIs and/or cloud providers to solve complex technical challenges from initial solution design through customer delivery - Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives, engineering, and IT teams - Strong presentation and technical communication skills with ability to translate requirements between technical and business stakeholders - Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems - Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or background in machine learning or data science - Enthusiasm for cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities - Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed - Commitment to using technology in ways that are safe and beneficial, advancing safe AI systems - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience in a field relevant to the role Location: London, UK with hybrid policy requiring at least 25% in-office time.
