TensorWave is building a cloud platform for AI compute infrastructure. The Logistics Manager for AI Infrastructure will oversee the physical supply chain for hardware shipments including server racks, GPUs, network equipment, and power components. This is a hands-on operational role managing international freight, customs clearances, domestic FTL/LTL transport, and logistics partner networks to ensure on-time delivery for data center site buildouts and operations. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Freight & Logistics Execution: Oversee international and domestic logistics for high-value server racks, GPUs, network switches, and data center equipment. Partner with specialized carriers and 3PL providers for secure, shock-monitored transport. Track shipments in real time, proactively identifying delays, port congestions, or customs holds. Manage reverse logistics, RMA flows, and warranty transport for enterprise hardware. Trade Compliance & Customs Management: Ensure 100% compliance with international trade regulations, import/export controls, and dual-use technology classifications (ECCN). Act as primary liaison with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities. Manage duty, tariff, and tax strategies to optimize trade execution and avoid clearance delays. Data Center Site Operations: Coordinate dock-to-rack delivery schedules with site operations managers and data center build teams. Establish standard operating procedures for shipping, tracking, chain-of-custody handoffs, asset tagging, and high-value security protocols. Manage inter-company transfers with the Inventory Program Manager. Vendor & Contract Management: Request, evaluate, and negotiate RFPs for global freight forwarders, air cargo charters, specialized ground transport, and 3PL partners. Establish KPIs and SLAs for logistics partners; conduct regular performance reviews. Audit freight invoices, customs duties, and accessorial fees for cost accuracy and budget optimization. Requirements: Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field (MBA highly preferred). 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management specifically within tech hardware, data centers, hardware manufacturing, or semiconductor industries. In-depth understanding of high-value asset handling, dual-use trade compliance (ECCN classification, BIS regulations), and Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, DAP, FCA). Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS/TMS software (e.g., NetSuite or specialized freight management systems). Proven track record negotiating contracts and managing performance with international 3PLs and freight forwarders. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with evolving priorities and tight deployment deadlines. Preferred: Experience shipping high-density compute infrastructure (e.g., AMD GPUs, racks, modular data center components). APICS/CSCMP certification (e.g., CLTD, CSCP).
