The Location Manager will lead all transportation operations for Zūm's Fresno, CA location, overseeing the complete operational lifecycle from contract bid development and site startup through daily management and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational execution.
Key responsibilities include: executing site startups for newly awarded contracts, including team hiring, facility setup, and IT implementation; developing and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships with school districts; managing P&L accountability and balanced scorecard KPIs; spearheading a behavioral safety culture and ensuring DOT/federal/state compliance; hiring and coaching teams to develop future leaders; overseeing daily operations including scheduling, staffing, route awards, and trip execution; managing union relationships per collective bargaining agreements; coordinating school bus yard electrification projects from planning through completion; and building strong community partnerships.

Required qualifications: 5+ years managing day-to-day operations in complex, time-sensitive environments (transportation, field service, or similar); demonstrated P&L accountability with operational oversight and KPI responsibility; experience with team building, hiring, and development; strong safety and compliance background; and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
