MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is seeking its first Localization Program Manager to build and scale localization capabilities for a mobile-first work execution platform serving 13,000+ customers globally including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo. You will own the end-to-end localization function, starting hands-on and evolving toward program governance. Key responsibilities include: **Pipeline & Infrastructure**: Design and implement localization pipelines across Documentation, Customer Education, Marketing, and Product teams. Evaluate and configure Translation Management Systems (TMS) and machine translation (MT) tooling. Standardize handoffs, file formats, and review workflows. Build and maintain glossaries, translation memories, style guides, and terminology databases to ensure consistency across all content types. **Quality & Operations**: Design and execute QA processes for machine translation output, including spot-checks and LQA frameworks. Formalize human review for core languages using internal and external reviewers. Track quality metrics over time and establish Language Service Provider (LSP) relationships. Own ongoing content flow through localization at agreed cadences, coordinate handoffs, track progress, and resolve bottlenecks. **Cross-functional Leadership**: Partner with engineering, product, and content teams to embed localization into existing workflows. Build shared processes and influence without direct authority. As the function grows, mentor future localization hires and transition from execution to strategic governance. You bring 5–7+ years of localization program management or operations experience, with a proven track record building workflows from scratch. You're hands-on with TMS platforms (Crowdin, Phrase, Lokalise) and MT engines (DeepL, Google Translate). You understand software localization deeply: string-based workflows, i18n conventions, and how to work alongside engineering teams. You have experience designing MT quality evaluation processes and are technical enough to reason about pipeline logic, file formats, and hold credible conversations with engineers and vendors. AI fluency is required: you use AI tools daily, have applied AI to translation quality evaluation or workflow automation, and exercise strong judgment on when to trust AI outputs versus escalate to humans. Nice-to-have skills include fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Portuguese; familiarity with static site generators, CMS, or LMS platforms; and background in industrial software or B2B SaaS.
