Falcon is a key technology in Azul Platform Prime—a Just-In-Time compiler for Java bytecode based on LLVM that delivers unprecedented Java performance. The compiler team is seeking an experienced LLVM Compiler Engineer to help advance Falcon and optimize LLVM for managed languages.
In this role, you will work with a distributed but highly collaborative team of compiler experts. Your responsibilities include:
• Creating new features and optimizations in the Falcon compiler
• Improving LLVM performance for managed languages
• Contributing to open-source projects
• Collaborating with a team of compiler specialists on complex technical challenges
This is an individual contributor role focused on deep compiler engineering work, ideal for someone with strong LLVM expertise and a passion for Java performance optimization.
