Salary: PLN 168,000 - 720,000 / annual

You'll join the embedded software team developing features for Verkada's hardware platforms—cameras, access control systems, alarms, and sensors—in a Linux embedded environment. This role bridges hardware and software, requiring close collaboration with hardware vendors, mechanical/electrical engineers, server teams, UI engineers, and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and shipping features for embedded Linux platforms
- Debugging, problem-solving, and conducting code reviews
- Defining architecture and designing new features and functionalities
- Owning projects from inception through deployment and customer support
- Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts
- Researching emerging technologies for new products
- Working in cross-functional teams
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years Linux embedded development experience
- 5+ years C or C++ programming experience
- Yocto/bitbake experience
- Bash or other scripting language proficiency
- Git version control experience
Nice-to-have skills include Linux kernel module programming, bootloaders (u-boot), secure boot/security, Go, Python, electrical circuits understanding, and RTOS experience.
