The Licensing Lead, New Bets role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing licensing opportunities that expand Nourish's reach and capabilities in new markets and therapeutic areas. This position sits at the intersection of business development, legal, and clinical strategy, managing relationships with potential licensing partners, health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders. The role involves conducting market analysis, negotiating licensing agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building cross-functional alignment to bring new bets to market.
Key responsibilities include: leading the licensing strategy for new business initiatives; identifying and vetting potential licensing partners and opportunities; negotiating terms and structuring deals; managing legal and compliance aspects of licensing agreements; collaborating with clinical, product, and operations teams to integrate licensed capabilities; tracking market trends and competitive landscape; and reporting progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate brings 5-8+ years of experience in business development, licensing, partnerships, or related roles, preferably in healthcare, healthtech, or regulated industries. Strong negotiation skills, understanding of healthcare regulations and reimbursement, and ability to manage ambiguity and complexity are essential. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and can drive strategic initiatives from conception through execution.
