Brightline is a pediatric behavioral health practice delivering therapy and psychiatry services to families and children up to age 18. The company combines evidence-based clinical care with family-centered, inclusive approaches and operates both virtual and in-person outpatient services.
You will join Brightline's founding team in New York as a Licensed Clinical Therapist, delivering comprehensive therapy to youth across individual and group formats. This is an opportunity to shape workflows, programs, and culture at a new care center while providing direct clinical care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based therapy to children and teens with presentations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, and trauma
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans with measurable treatment goals using measurement-based care practices
- Deliver both in-person sessions at the Brightline New York care center and virtual sessions during peak clinical hours
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and care coordinators in regular peer consultation and case review
- Participate in community engagement and outreach
- Contribute to developing clinical standards and programming at the new care center
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current on pediatric behavioral health research
Brightline's clinicians benefit from peer consultation, supervision infrastructure, and professional development opportunities within a multidisciplinary team setting—differentiating this from isolated private practice. The organization is data-driven, with most youth showing measurable improvement in anxiety, depression, and overall functioning, and parents reporting significant reductions in caregiver strain. Care is kept under one roof with internal referrals to prevent families from falling through cracks between providers. Clinicians are trained to provide LGBTQ+ and BIPOC-centered identity care.
The company was founded in 2019, is based in Palo Alto, and has been nationally recognized for clinical excellence and innovation, including Fast Company's 50 Most Innovative Companies (2022) and Behavioral Health Business Companies to Watch Award (2024). Investors include Boston Children's Hospital, Northwell Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Google Ventures, KKR, and Oak HC/FT.
Timeline: By end of year, Brightline will share which locations are moving forward. Start dates are anticipated for spring 2027. Interviews are exploratory with no pressure until an offer is on the table.
