As a Legal Product Specialist, you will be a trusted advisor to law firms and in-house legal teams, helping them seamlessly integrate Harvey's AI solutions into their daily workflows. You'll drive adoption, increase utilization, and support long-term customer expansion and renewal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with law firm partners, associates, innovation teams, and in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms by understanding their unique workflows and offering tailored guidance on incorporating Harvey's AI into daily practice.
- Design and lead onboarding sessions, training workshops, and ongoing enablement programs that maximize platform value and drive adoption across customer organizations.
- Partner strategically with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to identify expansion opportunities, support renewals, and demonstrate measurable impact and engagement.
- Proactively identify adoption barriers through thoughtful questioning and legal empathy, then develop and implement strategies to overcome obstacles.
- Translate legal practice needs into actionable product feedback, helping shape development through a lawyer's perspective.
- Monitor usage trends to identify at-risk accounts and untapped opportunities, working cross-functionally to re-engage users and showcase new capabilities.
- Contribute to customer-facing content including training materials, use case guides, and FAQ resources tailored to various practice areas.
- Serve as a credible brand ambassador for Harvey among top-tier legal professionals, delivering domain-specific guidance that meets their expectations.
- Travel as needed to customer offices and company locations.
Requirements:
- JD or equivalent legal qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of legal practice experience at a top-tier law firm (Vault 50 or equivalent), preferably in corporate law or litigation.
- Executive engagement skills and presence; ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels.
- Outstanding presentation skills for both legal and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding and formal presentations/demos.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals.
- Genuine curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.
- Plus factors: sales or customer-facing experience, law firm business development background, secondment experience, or direct management of law firm client matters and relationships.
