Ivo builds AI products that help enterprises solve complex contracting problems using large language models. The company works with clients like Meta, Uber, IBM, Intel, DoorDash, Mitsubishi Electric, and Coinbase, and recently completed a Series B funding round after 6x growth in 12 months. As a Legal Engineer, you will be a bridge between Ivo's product and its legal customers—law firms and in-house legal teams. You'll drive growth by becoming a trusted advisor on how Ivo's solutions enhance legal effectiveness and workflow integration. Key responsibilities include: - Champion Ivo's product at sales calls, customer onboarding, demos, webinars, events, and conferences - Lead tailored product demonstrations for in-house legal teams, asking discovery questions to validate use cases and showcasing relevant features - Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them integrate Ivo into workflows and adopt best practices for scaling AI in legal work - Implement and oversee "Playbooks" for prospects derived from their precedents, templates, and historical agreements - Collaborate closely with engineers to improve model outputs and with designers to enhance UX/UI - Act as "Voice of the Customer," using your legal perspective to inform sales strategy and synthesize customer feedback for the product team The role is varied with opportunities to specialize as the company grows. You'll have significant autonomy and responsibility in a fast-moving startup environment. Requirements: - 3+ years of legal experience (law firm or in-house legal team) - Sales or customer-facing experience preferred, including legal business development, secondment, or direct management of law firm client matters and relationships - Outstanding presentation skills for both legal and executive audiences (whiteboard, presentations, demos) - "Do what it takes" attitude; willingness to dive into problems and solve them independently - Relentless resourcefulness and strong internal sense of urgency - Startup experience preferred but not required - Excitement about building a company
