You will join Fever's Legal Department as Legal Counsel, reporting to the Legal Director and working closely with the Originals and production teams. This role is embedded in a collaborative legal team supporting content production globally, with a focus on live event productions including co-produced and licensed events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on agreements spanning content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements; continuously improve contract templates and processes
- Support business and production teams by identifying legal risks, designing mitigation strategies, and facilitating smooth execution of events and content initiatives across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct legal research, apply findings to operational facts, and deliver clear, actionable guidance to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage diverse legal projects, oversee contract workflows, maintain legal databases, and assist with internal compliance including intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory matters
- Support incident management and dispute resolution efforts with litigation specialists and coordinate stakeholder responses
- Prepare and update internal templates, legal guides, and documents; participate in training, memorandums, and presentations to employees and legal team members
You will own assigned projects with independence aligned to company legal strategy, working with internal and external subject matter experts. The role offers responsibility from day one in a fast-growing, high-impact organization.
The position is based in Madrid with home office flexibility and possible travel across Fever's markets. REQUIREMENTS:
- US or UK qualified barred lawyer with 4+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house at experience-economy and/or live production companies (top-tier law firm experience a plus)
- Solution-oriented and strategic thinker with strong business judgment; ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives
- Native or bilingual English proficiency; additional languages a plus
- Ability to take ownership and prioritize resources for multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Effective communicator with emotional intelligence; delivers clear advice to executives, business, and creative teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable team player eager to embrace change and contribute to dynamic, fast-growing organization
