You will join Fever's Legal Department as Legal Counsel, reporting to the Legal Director. Embedded within the Originals team, you will provide strategic legal advice on production-related matters, ensuring event productions (including co-produced and licensed events) are executed smoothly and in compliance with legal and business requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on agreements spanning content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements; continuously improve contract templates and processes
- Support business and production teams by identifying legal risks, designing mitigation strategies, and facilitating smooth execution of events and content initiatives
- Conduct legal research and deliver clear, actionable guidance to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage diverse legal projects, oversee contract workflows, maintain legal databases, and assist with internal compliance (intellectual property, data privacy, regulatory matters)
- Support incident management and dispute resolution efforts with litigation specialists
- Prepare internal templates, legal guides, and training materials; deliver presentations on legal matters
You will work with independence on assigned projects, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives. The role offers exposure to a rapidly growing, high-impact organization with an impressive global footprint.
The position is based in Madrid with home office flexibility and possible travel across markets. You will be expected to relocate to Madrid if not currently based there.
REQUIREMENTS:
- US or UK qualified lawyer (barred/admitted to practice)
- Minimum 4+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house at experience-economy and/or live production companies (top-tier law firm experience a plus)
- Native or bilingual English proficiency (additional languages a plus)
- Solution-oriented, strategic thinker with strong business judgment
- Ability to own and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Effective communicator with emotional intelligence; ability to advise executives, business, and creative teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable team player eager to embrace change in a dynamic, fast-growing organization
