Celonis, the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a Lead Value Engineer to drive AI-driven digital transformation across top-tier Oil & Gas enterprise accounts. This is a strategic customer success and SaaS adoption role focused on translating complex operational needs into technical and business strategy.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (COO, CFO, CTO) at supermajor and major independent operators, blending deep operational Oil & Gas expertise with elite management consulting and AI-first thinking to unlock maximum customer value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Value Architecture: Translate executive priorities into AI use cases (optimization, maintenance, decarbonization) and build Value Realization Frameworks
- Solution Blueprints: Architect scalable, end-to-end data flows to resolve complex operational bottlenecks across refinery, pipeline, and reservoir operations
- Financial Quantification: Build data-backed business cases quantifying $10M+ in CAPEX/OPEX savings
- Executive Advisory: Deliver high-stakes value narratives to C-suite stakeholders to accelerate software adoption
- Process Transformation: Automate field-to-back-office workflows using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end customer value journey from technical discovery and pilots through quarterly business reviews
Ideal candidates have 7-10 years of experience and fit one of two trajectories: (1) O&G operator/engineer background who transitioned into management consulting or SaaS value engineering, or (2) MBB/Big 4/elite tech consultant with deep specialization in Oil & Gas digital transformation. You must have proven track record in consultative value-selling for enterprise SaaS, functional fluency in Generative AI and process mining, deep domain expertise in 2+ areas (Drilling/Completions, Production Allocation, Asset Reliability, Supply Chain, Refining), and strong knowledge of back-office systems (JV/Revenue Accounting, FSM) and regulatory frameworks (PHMSA, EPA, BSEE).
Education: B.S. or M.S. in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business/Finance. Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or advanced data analytics certifications are a plus. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
