Neko Health is redefining preventative care through data-driven, non-invasive health assessments. The company combines proprietary technology with direct clinical care to deliver personalized health insights in under an hour, aiming to make prevention accessible before symptoms appear. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product Engineering team, you will build the software powering every Neko visit—from member check-in and real-time instrument displays in the clinic, to doctor review tools and the Neko App (featuring body composition tracking, wearable integrations, and an LLM-powered chat assistant). You'll operate across Product, AI, Data Science, and Hardware teams, shaping the intelligence layer of Neko's vertically integrated platform. In your first 6–12 months, you will become a fully ramped core contributor within 3 months, owning meaningful features in Member Experience or Medical Excellence domains. You'll architect and deliver end-to-end features that enhance member journeys with seamless, resilient, and clinically safe experiences. You'll introduce AI-first workflows using agentic tools to handle routine work, freeing you to focus on system design and outcomes. You'll drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, surface issues early, ask probing questions, and provide direct feedback. You'll lead critical reliability and quality initiatives to ensure member-facing systems are robust and scalable. You'll also influence and mentor other engineers, raising the bar for technical excellence, problem-solving, and customer centricity. You are a full-stack engineer with depth to lead complex, cross-functional delivery end-to-end. You have solid command of architecture and the frameworks you work in, able to explain and defend trade-offs rather than blindly assemble AI output. You are product-minded and customer-driven, with a track record of shipping well-rated products with excellent UX and deciding what to build through customer conversations. You work AI-first—beyond just using AI to write code—integrating agentic tooling into your daily workflow and with experience building AI or automation into products. You are a strong communicator who mentors engineers around you.
