Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Lattice SDK team is building the developer ecosystem around Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that powers Anduril's family of defense systems. This role sits at the critical intersection of Anduril's cutting-edge defense technology and the broader developer community. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Lattice SDK team, you will architect and develop the developer portal and generated SDKs that enable partners—from innovative startups to defense giants—to build complex technical integrations with the Lattice platform. You'll own the full lifecycle of developer-facing infrastructure, from API design and SDK generation to partner onboarding and technical support. Key responsibilities include: designing and building the developer portal to enhance partner engagement; developing infrastructure to expose APIs and SDKs for external developers; building and maintaining sample applications, SDKs, and technical frameworks; providing technical leadership during partner onboarding and guiding engineering teams through complex integration scenarios; creating proof-of-concept applications and reference architectures that demonstrate advanced Lattice capabilities; collaborating with internal engineering teams to influence platform roadmap based on real-world implementation feedback; conducting technical reviews of partner architectures; troubleshooting complex integration issues for mission-critical deployments; and evangelizing best practices for building resilient, secure, and performant applications on Lattice. You'll need 5+ years as a Senior Software Engineer with customer-facing responsibilities. Strong programming experience across multiple languages (Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar) is required, with demonstrated ability to build production-grade applications. Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture—including microservices, event-driven architectures, and API gateway patterns—is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices is required. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll solve complex challenges, create exceptional developer experiences, and contribute to mission-critical defense technology.
