As Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring Glean's services meet stringent Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and operate reliably at global scale. You'll drive technical strategy, foster engineering excellence, and build a high-performing, collaborative team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Drive technical excellence and reliability culture across engineering teams. Lead by example in incident management, performance optimization, and automation. Establish strong technical credibility, shape architectural decisions, and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable systems.
• High Availability: Implement and maintain resilient cloud architectures in hybrid cloud environments. Monitor system performance, proactively identify bottlenecks and points of failure, and resolve issues before they impact customers.
• Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive post-incident learning. Establish best practices for rapid detection, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Infrastructure & Automation: Build infrastructure to scale operations and eliminate manual work through automation. Focus on reducing toil and enabling the team to focus on strategic initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering leadership, and other teams to align SRE efforts with business objectives. Influence best practices and drive execution of key technical initiatives.
The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, SRE practices, coding, algorithms, and problem-solving. You'll manage the complex challenges of scale and fast growth unique to Glean while building systems that power AI agents automating real work across enterprise teams.
