Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Lead Project Manager in the Professional Services organization, you will drive end-to-end implementations of the Celonis platform for the company's largest and most strategic enterprise customers.
You will lead complex transformational customer programs, defining project outcomes and steering delivery from kick-off through training and go-live. Your responsibilities include planning and managing project timelines, resources, scope, and budgets across multiple concurrent engagements. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with senior executives, process owners, and technical teams to understand their goals and ensure successful implementation.
Key responsibilities include: managing detailed project plans emphasizing speed to delivery and resource efficiency; regularly communicating project status, risks, and issues to both internal leadership and customer sponsors; providing guidance and mentoring to implementation teams (including partner resources) to ensure Celonis methodology compliance; and contributing to continuous improvement of Services methods and best practices.
You will also support pre-sales activities, articulating Celonis' product positioning, collaborating with Sales and Value Engineering to establish the Services value proposition, and creating statements of work with customers.
Required qualifications: extensive client-facing project management experience in enterprise software implementations managing multiple concurrent projects; deep expertise in project management disciplines (planning, risk/issue management, problem resolution); strong stakeholder and timeline management skills; experience managing consulting teams both onshore and offshore; background in positioning Services, writing proposals, and managing partner ecosystems; proven ability to set and manage customer expectations; strong analytical skills applying technology to business problems; project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or Safe/Agile); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; fluency in Japanese required.
