N26 is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a high-value capability area within its Conversational Banking programme. This is a newly formed and expanding segment focused on scaling customer support through AI-powered conversational systems that resolve issues autonomously, reducing the need for human agent escalation.
In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of a defined capability area—such as a set of high-volume customer journeys or agent-facing tools—including roadmap, delivery, and measured outcomes. You will work at the intersection of applied AI, banking operations, and regulation, shipping capabilities used by millions of customers across Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own a capability area with full product ownership, from discovery through delivery to resolution outcomes
- Lead discovery on contact drivers behind your area, building problem statements from real customer voice and operational data
- Ship agentic capabilities by working daily with engineering and applied AI teams to move journeys from answering to acting, with appropriate guardrails and escalation paths
- Instrument your area with resolution-first metrics and counter-metrics that prove quality isn't traded for efficiency
- Collaborate with operations, service partners, and peer product teams to ensure capabilities land in real agent and back-office workflows
- Design compliance, auditability, and customer protection into every capability from the start
You will join a small senior team with direct access to programme leadership and real ownership from day one. The platform foundations are proven, and the interesting work is just starting: taking journeys from containment to genuine autonomous resolution on infrastructure the bank owns.
Requirements:
- Three or more years in product management, with at least one shipped product or major capability you owned end to end
- Experience with AI-powered, conversational, or automation products—or demonstrable, hands-on understanding of how LLM-based systems behave in production
- Strong analytical fluency: comfortable defining metrics, working directly with data, and separating signal from vanity
- Bias to evidence over opinion; comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving programme
Nice to have:
- Experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry
- Exposure to contact centre and branch operations, BPO environments, or customer service tooling
