Salary: CAD 140,000 - 165,000 / annual

Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join PeopleFun, a Dallas-based award-winning game studio. PeopleFun creates mobile games played by over 25 million players monthly and is part of the AppLovin studios family (publicly traded). In this role, you will lead product management and cross-functional pod execution on Wordscapes, one of PeopleFun's major titles. You will own the game's growth strategy with a focus on improving new user retention, monetization, and engagement. Your responsibilities include: • Leading cross-functional teams (Production, Design, Engineering, Analytics) to drive measurable improvements in game performance • Owning and prioritizing the product roadmap to achieve both player and business goals • Taking ownership of key game KPIs and proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance • Designing and balancing game economies to drive compelling player experiences, retention, and monetization • Performing game analytics and translating player behavior and performance data into clear product decisions • Developing data-backed hypotheses, defining success metrics, and using test results to iterate, scale, or deprioritize initiatives • Analyzing competing games and providing competitive insights • Leveraging liveops tools, A/B testing, notifications, and other optimization tools to drive business objectives • Collaborating with studio stakeholders to define, design, and manage features that drive engagement and retention You will work in a hybrid environment (Monday–Thursday in-office in Toronto, Friday work-from-home), with occasional travel to the Dallas office 3–4 times per year. The studio emphasizes collaboration, creativity, teamwork, and data-driven product innovation. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field • 3+ years' experience in a game product management role • Proven experience in increasing user retention • Passion for creating innovative, fun, and compelling games • Understanding and experience with free-to-play and other mobile game business and monetization models • Proactive and self-directed, with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving them forward • Highly data-driven, with the ability to develop hypotheses, analyze player and game performance, and translate insights into product decisions • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to focus teams on highest-impact opportunities • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
