Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment and label of Take-Two Interactive, is seeking an experienced Lead Producer to manage production scheduling and lead all aspects of game development processes. The role reports to the Executive Producer and is responsible for overseeing the production schedule, optimizing team capacity, and ensuring key developmental and production objectives are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project production schedules and coordinating roadmap planning, execution, review, and release of sprints and live updates
- Leading and providing guidance to producer team members, supporting their career growth
- Implementing project tracking through JIRA and managing scope across development cycles
- Identifying task dependencies, managing risks, and owning mitigation solutions
- Setting priorities and leading communication and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Maintaining internal documentation and serving as a game critic and player advocate
- Communicating project status regularly, tracking task completion, and ensuring goals are met
- Defining and continuously improving production processes
- Championing an open, inclusive, and positive work environment
You will work with multi-discipline teams in a fast-paced environment, managing both tactical day-to-day operations and strategic planning. The role involves managing scheduling, task lists, and communication of daily, weekly, and quarterly goals, achievements, issues, and updates.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of production experience with one or more complete development cycles in a production role
- Proven experience launching and supporting a game or product as a live service
- Outstanding organization, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and SCRUM development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams
- Consistent track record working in rapid development cycles
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to switch between tactical and strategic thinking
- Comfort with promoting candid communication of issues
