Ripple is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer for Marketing to establish the technical vision and framework for the company's marketing technology platform. This is a Staff/Principal-level role that bridges engineering, growth marketing, and data analytics. You will own the comprehensive technical strategy for Ripple's marketing web platform, ensuring it scales globally while supporting aggressive growth targets. Key responsibilities include pioneering AI integration and workflow automation by architecting LLM-powered tools and intelligent agents that amplify marketing team efficiency; engineering experimentation and personalization infrastructure to enable complex A/B testing and dynamic content delivery; building robust data pipelines and integrations across the marketing tech stack (Segment, GA4, Marketo, Salesforce) for accurate tracking and attribution; leading cross-functional initiatives as the technical bridge between Marketing, Product, and Data teams; defining engineering guidelines, CI/CD optimizations, and system architecture standards; building scalable CMS schemas and APIs in Sanity for modular content creation; optimizing core web vitals, technical SEO, and edge-caching strategies; and mentoring engineers to foster technical excellence. You bring 8+ years of professional web development experience with at least 2+ years in a Staff, Lead, or Principal role focused on marketing technology or growth engineering. Deep expertise in modern JavaScript, React, and Next.js (App Router, Server Components) is essential. You have applied AI experience with hands-on LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic) using frameworks like Vercel AI SDK or LangChain. You've built experimentation frameworks (Optimizely, VWO) and personalization engines for high-traffic websites. Strong architectural understanding of the modern growth marketing stack, including CDPs, CRM integrations, server-side tagging, and event tracking schemas is required. You excel at translating business goals into technical roadmaps and demonstrate hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms, particularly Sanity. Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and deep understanding of performance optimization, SSR/SSG, and edge deployment strategies (Vercel, Cloudflare) round out the profile.
