Skydio, the leading US autonomous drone company, is seeking a GTM Platform Engineer to architect and lead the design of their Go-to-Market platform. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role combining software engineering, data architecture, AI, and product thinking to solve complex operational challenges across sales, finance, customer success, and operations.
You will own the technical vision and architecture for Skydio's GTM platform while remaining deeply involved in implementation. The role spans multiple domains: sales planning, territory and capacity planning, sales forecasting, deal operations, fulfillment planning, customer success operations, and AI-powered GTM assistants. You'll design scalable business applications built on Palantir Foundry, establish engineering standards and architecture principles, and build a unified business ontology for commercial operations.
Key responsibilities include architecting scalable platform infrastructure, writing production-quality Python, SQL, and TypeScript code, designing and building scalable APIs and services, developing AI-powered applications using modern LLM technologies, designing data models and semantic business objects, building ELT/ETL pipelines and event-driven workflows, and partnering directly with executives across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Operations to translate business challenges into software products.
Required qualifications: 5+ years building enterprise applications or platform products, expert-level Python and SQL proficiency, strong TypeScript or modern language experience, production-grade software engineering practices, strong computer science fundamentals (distributed systems, APIs, OOP, concurrency, system design), REST API design and enterprise SaaS integration experience, scalable data modeling expertise, Git/CI-CD/testing/deployment pipeline experience, cloud-native application development (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong software architecture, observability, reliability, and security understanding.
Preferred experience includes Palantir Foundry and AIP, PySpark/Apache Spark, Databricks, Salesforce Platform, Slack APIs, LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), AI frameworks (MCP, RAG, vector databases, LangGraph, LangChain), and platform experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations. The role will hire and manage two entry-level AI Engineers. FAA Part 107 certification within 60 days is strongly encouraged.
