Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute layers for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The Manufacturing business is ramping quickly and needs a hands-on financial leader to build out its planning and reporting infrastructure.
You will own the financial engine for the Manufacturing business: the integrated financial model, planning cycles, and KPIs that leadership uses to run the business. This is a senior individual-contributor role with significant scope to shape how Manufacturing Finance operates. You will be the hands-on builder and day-to-day owner of the financial model, planning cycles, and reporting—doing the work yourself rather than directing others. At the same time, you'll set standards for how the team plans, models, and reports, including model architecture, data definitions, templates, and review cadence.
Key responsibilities include: building and running the consolidated Manufacturing business unit financial model covering close support, forecast, long-range plan, budget, and scenario analysis; owning variance analysis models and templates; driving bottoms-up planning by translating inputs from Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Field Services into financial outcomes; building scenario and sensitivity models for volume, supplier pricing, schedule shifts, and cost/margin targets; supporting cash flow planning and liquidity analysis. You will own the financial content of the Monthly Business Review, define and track key business and finance KPIs, and automate reporting. You'll partner with the broader FP&A team on end-to-end planning, work with DC and Spark finance leads to provide a consistent planning foundation, build business-case evaluation templates for supplier and contract manufacturer engagements, and provide finance support to Field Services and New Product Introduction. You'll also own the finance tools roadmap for Manufacturing, including model architecture, data pipelines, and dashboards, and help set up planning infrastructure as the team grows.
You'll be the central analytical hub, with regular visibility to Finance leadership and business executives. Your analysis will directly inform decisions on supplier and CM engagements, cost and margin targets, and cash planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
- 7+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, business finance, or consulting, with a track record of owning planning cycles (budget, forecast, LRP) end to end
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including building large, multi-driver models from scratch
- Experience supporting hardware, manufacturing, supply chain, or tech businesses, with working knowledge of COGS, BOM cost, inventory, and CM or supplier economics
- Strong data skills: advanced Excel or Google Sheets and SQL, plus experience with BI and visualization tools (such as Looker or Tableau)
- Ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior, non-finance leaders
- Comfort working in ambiguity in a fast-growth environment, with a bias to build and iterate
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in data center, AI infrastructure, semiconductor, or other capital-intensive technology companies
- Experience with planning systems (such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or Hyperion) and ERP data (such as NetSuite or SAP)
- Exposure to cash flow forecasting, capital planning, or S&OP processes
- Working knowledge of NPI and field or service operations economics
- MBA, CPA, or CFA
