**Infrastructure Architecture & Operations:** Design and operate cloud and on-premises infrastructure spanning Azure environments (networking, identity, compute, storage, security) and Kubernetes platforms on both AKS and on-premises. Support production applications, data platforms, and AI workloads at scale.
**Automation & Platform Engineering:** Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Bicep) and GitOps practices. Design CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Flux) and build reusable, self-service platform capabilities.
**Reliability & Observability:** Own observability, capacity planning, backup/recovery, HA/DR strategies. Lead response to complex production incidents across application, Kubernetes, OS, network, and cloud layers. Implement security best practices including secrets management, access controls, network segmentation, and vulnerability management.
**AI Infrastructure:** Work with Software, Data, and AI Engineers to design infrastructure for data-intensive and GPU/AI workloads, championing Cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, and SRE best practices across the engineering organization.
**Required Experience:** 7+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering with proven team leadership and mentoring experience. Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (networking, compute, storage, identity, security, managed services). Strong Kubernetes expertise designing, deploying, upgrading, securing, and troubleshooting production clusters in hybrid/on-premises environments. Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), Docker/containerized workloads, CI/CD/GitOps workflows, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor). Deep understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls, storage, identity, and cloud/infrastructure security. Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Fluent English with excellent technical communication.
**Bonus Qualifications:** Previous Cloud/DevOps/SRE/Platform Team Lead or Engineering Manager experience. Experience with bare-metal or private-cloud Kubernetes (RKE2, OpenShift, Rancher, Talos). GPU infrastructure and Kubernetes GPU workloads. Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks). Service meshes, ingress controllers, API gateways, advanced Kubernetes networking. Enterprise networking and security tooling (Vault, Key Vault, OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno). Regulated/security-sensitive environment experience. Relevant certifications (CKA/CKS, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate).
**Work Arrangement:** Hybrid model with flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the European Economic Area (EU, Switzerland) or UK up to 6 weeks per year. Primary office in Athens.
**Benefits:** Competitive salary, private insurance, top-tier tech equipment, training budget for certifications and courses from leading partners (Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, Databricks).
