Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a C# Technical Lead for the Veeam Backup for Office 365 product team. This is a people-management role overseeing a team of 4-5 developers working on backend features for a market-leading data resilience and security platform.
You will supervise day-to-day team operations, establish and review technical requirements in collaboration with product management, and develop new backend features using modern C# and .NET technologies. Key responsibilities include estimating effort and capacity for feature implementation, making architectural and technical decisions, leading code reviews, and fostering a positive team culture focused on learning and motivation. You will also communicate with project stakeholders, establish team processes (planning, daily standups, retrospectives), and ensure effective internal communication.
The tech stack includes C# (.NET 10), C++/C++CLI, REST APIs, PowerShell, Visual Studio, Rider, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure cloud, Office 365, Amazon, Google Cloud, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, and PostgreSQL.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of commercial software development experience, strong C#/.NET expertise with knowledge of Win API, data structures, and algorithms, proven team leadership experience managing 4-5 developers, strong organizational and leadership skills, result-oriented mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and fluent English for international team communication.
