Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a C# Technical Lead for the Veeam Backup for Office 365 team based in Prague (with an alternative Warsaw office option). This is a people-management role overseeing a team of 4-5 developers working on backend features for enterprise data resilience and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day team operations and ensure a positive work atmosphere
- Collaborate with product management to analyze and establish business requirements
- Develop new backend product features and make technical decisions
- Estimate effort, costs, and capacity for feature implementation
- Lead code reviews and mentor team members on hard and soft skills
- Communicate with project stakeholders and establish team processes
- Conduct regular meetings, planning sessions, retrospectives, and daily standups
Technical Stack:
You'll work with C# (primary), some C++ and C++/CLI, REST APIs, PowerShell, .NET 10, Visual Studio, Rider, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure cloud, Office 365, Amazon, Google Cloud, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, and PostgreSQL.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong C#, .NET, Win API, data structures, and algorithms knowledge
- Proven team leadership experience managing 4-5 developers
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with self-control and responsibility
- Result-oriented, proactive problem-solving mindset
- Technical depth with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and English proficiency for international collaboration
