Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. The company is developing a rocket, manufacturing facility, and business from the ground up, with a culture emphasizing autonomy, ownership, and impact at every level. The Launch team operates at the intersection of every major aspect of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. Based at Cape Canaveral, this team sees the full integration of the program—from first flights to reuse and high-cadence operations. The role offers exposure and responsibility unmatched elsewhere in the program. As a Launch Fluids Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, fabrication, operation, and maintenance of the launch pad and support facilities for Terran R. Key responsibilities include: • Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design, modeling, pipe stress analysis, fabrication drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams, component lists, and detailed work instructions • Supervise construction, activation, commissioning, and initial operations of these facilities • Solve technically challenging problems across multiple disciplines under varying programmatic pressures • Collaborate across teams to shape decisions and see work come to life in record time You will work at a unique moment where the program is early enough to leave your mark on the product and process, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum.
