The Launch team operates at the intersection of every major aspect of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. Cape Canaveral is the only place where all elements come together, offering exposure and responsibility unmatched elsewhere in the program. This is where first flights happen and the scale of operations is unlike anything in modern aerospace.
As a Launch Fluids Engineer I, you will be responsible for the design, fabrication, operation, and maintenance of the launch pad and support facilities for Terran R. Key responsibilities include:
- Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design, modeling, pipe stress analysis, fabrication drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams, component lists, and detailed work instructions
- Supervise construction, activation, commissioning, and initial operations of these facilities
- Solve technically challenging problems across multiple disciplines under varying programmatic pressures
- Collaborate across teams to shape decisions and see work come to life in record time
