Rohlik is launching a brand-new, highly automated fulfillment center and seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to lead the last mile team from day one. This is a rare opportunity to join at the site's inception, shape processes from scratch, and build a high-performing operation without legacy constraints.
In this role, you will own last mile operations end-to-end, managing a team of Area Managers to drive performance across safety, delivery quality, and productivity. You'll be responsible for delivery performance metrics, on-time rates, safety compliance, and labor management. Your leadership will extend to coaching and developing your Area Manager team, ensuring optimal staffing, skills, and readiness.
You'll work at the intersection of leadership, delivery performance, customer experience, and continuous improvement. Collaboration is key—you'll partner closely with cross-functional teams including Transport, OpEx, HR, IT, and Automation to solve live operational challenges and align resources. You'll monitor delivery KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and champion a continuous improvement culture throughout the operation.
Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of new processes, tools, and routing/dispatch systems; driving standardization and safety compliance; and establishing best-practice adoption in a new operational environment. You'll provide hands-on problem-solving during peak periods, weekends, and holidays, and build an environment with stronger standards, better processes, and an engaging, high-energy culture from day one.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in last mile, logistics, transport, or delivery operations management
- Proven track record of managing teams of 50+ people in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English and conversational-level Czech
- Availability to work regular business hours Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
NICE TO HAVE:
- University degree or MBA in a related field
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with routing/dispatch systems, fleet management tools, and high-volume delivery operations
