Candescent is a fintech company building intelligent banking solutions that unify digital banking, account opening, and branch experiences across channels. The Knowledge Management Specialist will own the creation, maintenance, and governance of the company's knowledge base and documentation ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include creating and updating high-quality knowledge base articles that are accurate, current, and user-friendly. You'll govern submitted content to ensure consistency with knowledge standards and best practices, reviewing articles and providing actionable feedback to authors. You'll partner closely with Product, Support, Training, and Operations teams to align documentation with product releases and process changes, supporting release readiness by ensuring timely completion and publication of required content.
You'll monitor knowledge health metrics such as article freshness, usage patterns, and content gaps, proactively identifying improvement opportunities. You'll contribute to evolving the knowledge management function's workflows, tooling, and governance processes, and help drive documentation strategy and scalability across the organization.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of experience in knowledge management, technical documentation, release readiness, or similar roles. You should demonstrate strong written communication skills, the ability to translate complex concepts into clear content, and native or near-native English proficiency. Proficiency with AI tools like Copilot, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and collaboration platforms is required. You're comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments and have strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Preferred experience includes work in SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments; familiarity with release management or product launch processes; experience analyzing knowledge metrics; exposure to content governance models; and hands-on use of SharePoint, Teams, or Confluence.
