EVERSANA is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join the sales team focused on immunology and gene therapy products in the Detroit territory. This role involves selling specialty medicines and rare disease treatments to hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Academic Medical Centers.
You will be responsible for delivering against sales targets and driving business growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, hospital administrators, and formulary committees. Your work will involve navigating the complex healthcare landscape, leveraging deep knowledge of IDNs and Academic Medical Centers to maximize product access. You'll assist healthcare system leaders in operationalizing innovative treatments for patients within their institutions.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, market access, medical affairs) to develop and implement effective sales strategies; staying current with clinical data, treatment guidelines, and market trends; conducting product presentations and educational programs for healthcare professionals; assisting hospitals with onboarding and formulary approval processes; monitoring market trends and competitor activities; providing feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market dynamics; maintaining accurate CRM records; developing key opinion leaders in your territory; and building comprehensive account plans for targeted IDNs. Travel is required up to 40% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in hospital and large IDN selling environments
- Strong understanding of IDNs, Buy & Bill, 340B, and hospital formulary approval processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team-oriented environments
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools
- Valid driver's license meeting company MVR criteria
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth knowledge of oncology treatments and emerging trends in cell and gene therapy
- ENT/Otolaryngology experience
- Understanding of ultra-cold chain distribution
