FlixBus is seeking a Technical Operations Manager focused on AI & Automation to build the operational backbone for scaling their platform globally. You will be part of a cross-functional Platform Business Team responsible for integrating and maintaining third-party partner inventory across multiple integration modes (self-service, manual, hybrid, API).
Key responsibilities include:
• Onboard and maintain third-party carrier inventory on the platform, ensuring accuracy and health across all integration channels that drive revenue and inventory growth
• Identify manual, repetitive steps in onboarding and inventory processes and replace them with scripts, workflows, and automation to enable team scaling without proportional effort increase
• Prototype and deploy AI tooling for data validation, inventory QA, document handling, and internal assistant applications to accelerate operations and improve information quality
• Serve as an expert user of internal tools, collaborating closely with engineers to resolve technical issues, enhance partner and customer experience, and convert recurring pain points into tooling improvements
• Use data-driven analysis to identify automation opportunities, measure impact of implemented solutions, and prioritize future initiatives
You bring a degree in a technical, analytical, or business field (Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or similar) with 3+ years of relevant experience. You are comfortable with data and automation tooling including spreadsheets, SQL, scripting (Python), no-code/low-code platforms, and hands-on AI experimentation. You are detail-oriented, self-directed, creative in problem-solving, and thrive in international team environments. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are valued.
