As IT Security Analyst, you will own the day-to-day administration and execution of security, IT, and data governance initiatives. This is an execution-focused role reporting to the Head of Security, Information and Data Governance, turning strategic direction into daily practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, including break glass accounts and access reviews
- Design and implementation of SharePoint governance model and permission management beyond end-user level
- Execution of data governance policies including glossary, rules, and access control frameworks
- Ownership of security findings remediation schedule from compliance and vulnerability tooling
- Review of IT vendor relationships and proposal of in-house ownership plans
- Stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Flagging gaps and unclear requirements rather than working around them
The role is based in Amsterdam with a hybrid working model. Most of the team is located in the Netherlands, and candidates must live within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 0 to 3 years of experience in IT administration or security operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in a business environment
- Practical experience with SharePoint governance and permissions beyond end-user use
- Exposure to data governance concepts, access control, or data classification
- Basic understanding of security and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Comfortable owning day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, Entra, and SharePoint
- Ability to execute security and data governance roadmaps set by leadership
- Comfortable reviewing vendor relationships and proposing practical next steps
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
NICE TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with vulnerability or GRC platforms
- Exposure to ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audit
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or similar certifications
- Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, fintech)
