Cylib, a mission-driven scale-up strengthening Europe's battery supply chains and advancing circular economy at industrial scale, is seeking an IT Project and Process Manager to lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and optimization.
In this role, you will design and document business processes across procurement, sales, accounting, and controlling in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into detailed specifications while confidently rejecting or deferring requests when their benefit does not justify implementation effort.
You will own SAP project and release planning, including testing, cutover execution, and post-go-live adoption monitoring. You will configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition directly, handling business configuration, roles and authorizations, output determination, and data migration. You will specify integrations between SAP and surrounding systems (including the company's in-house operations platform), defining data flows, triggers, and failure-handling protocols.
Additionally, you will coordinate with implementation partners, providing detailed specifications and validating deliverables against requirements. You will ensure accuracy of material, supplier, and cost center master data, recognizing its critical importance to reporting integrity. You will communicate complex technical topics clearly across functions and trace report figures back to source data.
This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will take ownership, drive outcomes, and shape real impact on business results from day one.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ERP systems, including support for an ERP implementation or major change through go-live
- Strong SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally with Cloud Public Edition; understanding of release cycles, extensibility model, and standard-process approach
- Solid technical understanding of API-based integrations and ERP data structures; ability to assess technical proposals and discuss them with developers
- Experience with process documentation (including exceptions) and understanding of how ERP data feeds into reports
- Analytical, structured work style with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to colleagues from different functions
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and manage competing expectations and priorities
- Fluent German (minimum C1) and English
- Thrives in hands-on, dynamic environments with ownership mentality
