Swarm Aero is building the world's largest swarming UAV network and Command & Control software for autonomous aircraft systems. The company is Series A-backed and staffed by aerospace veterans from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.
You will own the day-to-day technology experience for employees while building skills to grow into a Systems Administrator role as the company scales. This is a hands-on position across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management, identity, hardware, networking, security, and cloud infrastructure. You'll work directly with experienced Systems Administrators and the Head of IT, progressively taking on more complex systems and infrastructure responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include: managing the IT support queue and resolving employee issues; administering users, groups, licenses, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and Microsoft 365 resources; performing day-to-day Entra ID administration; supporting and troubleshooting Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive; managing user and group-based access to company resources; troubleshooting account access, MFA, authentication, permissions, and licensing issues; supporting employee onboarding and offboarding; provisioning, deploying, configuring, and maintaining employee laptops and IT hardware; managing hardware and software lifecycle processes; troubleshooting cross-system issues; documenting solutions and procedures; identifying automation opportunities; and working alongside the Systems Administration team to take on advanced responsibilities in Intune, Conditional Access, enterprise applications, SSO/SCIM provisioning, privileged access, identity and access management, networking, cloud infrastructure, security and compliance, and automation.
Swarm Aero emphasizes that IT is not just about keeping laptops running—technology, security, and infrastructure directly enable engineers and operators to build and deploy autonomous aircraft. You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment where your decisions have real impact and you can take ownership early.
