You will serve as IT Operations Manager, owning and executing the core IT infrastructure and systems as the function scales. Working alongside the Head of Information Security and IT, you'll operate and maintain systems while contributing to strategic build-out and change management. This role emphasizes ownership, accuracy, governance, and building durable processes rather than reactive ticket-closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and operate the MDM (Mobile Device Management) infrastructure, running the Mac fleet in Iru with configuration profiles, zero-touch enrollment, custom scripts, and remediation; manage the smaller Windows footprint.
- Maintain the CMDB and asset inventory as Glimpse's source of truth for laptops, network hardware, office ISP details, and system maps; reconcile data against IdP and HR systems to catch drift before audit findings.
- Manage vendor relationships and renewals: track contracts, manage SaaS and hardware agreements, handle license true-ups, and keep renewals current.
- Help maintain SOC 2 compliance benchmarks on the IT side: onboarding/offboarding rigor, access review cycles, and defensible evidence trails.
- Administer and govern the SaaS stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, core tools): provisioning, access hygiene, settings management, and compliance readiness.
- Own documentation: maintain runbooks, configuration records, and process docs as systems evolve.
- Partner on change management and IT projects with the Head of Information Security and IT; handle escalations from the Support team.
This is ideal if you enjoy owning things outright, care deeply about accuracy and audit-readiness, and prefer building durable processes to fighting recurring problems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in IT, including meaningful time in a senior operations, systems, or infrastructure role, with a track record of running IT systems at scale.
- Deep, hands-on MDM ownership in Iru, Jamf Pro, or similar cloud MDM platforms; experience with configuration profiles, zero-touch enrollment, and Bash scripting for macOS; sufficient Windows MDM familiarity to manage a small footprint.
- Strong identity and SaaS administration: day-to-day Okta ownership (application integrations, group and access management, troubleshooting) and broad admin experience across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and modern stacks.
- Experience owning ITAM or CMDB and associated vendors: asset tracking, inventory, contracts, renewals, license management, and vendor accountability.
- AI-forward mindset: comfortable using AI tools to work faster and handle volume intelligently.
- Clear communicator who can maintain process discipline without making IT feel like a blocker.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Specific experience with Iru or launching an MDM from scratch.
- Jamf certification.
- Security or ITIL-related certification (ITIL Foundation or security/compliance credentials).
- Okta Workflows or similar low-code automation experience.
- Exposure to broader automation tooling and AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience at a fast-scaling startup building IT processes from the ground up.
