As IT Manager at Remi, you will own the company's IT environment end-to-end, serving as the primary technical leader and go-to person for all IT infrastructure and security matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Device management for Mac and Windows fleets using Apple Business Manager and JumpCloud MDM
- Endpoint security monitoring and alert response
- Office networking and Wi-Fi administration, including access point configuration, firewall and switch management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and vendor relationship management
- User onboarding and offboarding with role-based access provisioning and full revocation on exit
- Hardware asset lifecycle tracking from procurement through secure disposal
- Help desk support to employees with documentation of fixes to prevent recurring issues
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building clean, secure systems and thrives as an independent IT leader. You will report directly to leadership and be responsible for maintaining a security-first posture across the organization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in IT support or systems administration, with at least 1 year as the primary IT owner at a company
- Hands-on experience with an identity provider (JumpCloud, Okta, or Entra ID) and Google Workspace administration
- Experience with MDM for macOS and Windows
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing business Wi-Fi and networks
- Security-first mindset, including least-privilege access, MFA, and patching discipline
- Clear communication skills with non-technical coworkers
- Comfort working independently without an existing IT team
Nice to have:
- SOC 2 audit experience, especially with Vanta
- Degree or certification in IT, networking, or security (CompTIA, Apple, Jamf, etc.)
- Experience at a startup or high-growth company
